Hill country to the west
Stump Grinding Across Palo Pinto County
Palo Pinto County is rougher country than its neighbor to the east — rocky hills, deep draws, and the Brazos River winding through the middle of it. The trees follow the land: mesquite and cedar on the hillsides and pastures, post oak and live oak on the ridges, and big pecans in the river bottoms.
Wherever the stump is, we grind it 6–12 inches below grade and clean up after. Chips can go back in the hole, get spread as mulch, or be hauled off for an added fee.
Most of the county is a longer drive than our Parker County work, but the price doesn’t change. There’s no trip charge anywhere in the county.

Ranch, Lake, and Hill-Country Stump Removal
Stump removal out here comes with its own challenges. These are the ones worth mentioning when you call.
-
Ranch Roads and Gates
Getting to a stump on a ranch usually means gates and a drive across the pasture. Tell us about the route in — cattle guards, creek crossings, soft ground — and we’ll plan for it.
-
Lake Property
Lake lots get cleared for views, docks, and new cabins, and the stumps tend to sit on slopes near the water. We need a stable spot to set the grinder, so describe the slope when you call.
-
Rocky Hillsides
Rock under and around the root flare is common in this part of Texas. We grind around stone rather than through it, and if rock changes the price, we’ll tell you before we start.
-
River-Bottom Pecans
Pecans in the creek and river bottoms grow huge, and so do their stumps. Measure across the widest point at ground level; big numbers are no problem for the calculator.
Priced by the inch
Stump Grinding Cost in Palo Pinto County
Stump grinding out here is priced exactly like it is in our home county: total inches across all your stumps, with no trip charge. The drive is on us.
What can change the price out here is the ground, not the distance. Rock around the base, a stump on a steep slope, or extra-hard wood may affect the final number, and we’ll tell you before we start.
